Pressure on the Brit embassies, PM, FCO etc via twitter is something simple and effective all can do. Setting up a twitter account takes minutes. They shouldn't be given an easy ride which is obviously what they are hoping for!

So ONLY Greenchair.......... has done something other than talk about it what they should do.

Steady on. These threads have been running for weeks and lots of very important contributions have been made by many posters infact some such as Hannahs phone incident have actually been acted upon by the RTP.

Nobody here needs to say on the forum whether they have made any contributions to the B2 defense fund or not, its up to them, anything else that people do is not done for personal gain and so no need to shout about it. I am sure if there's anything that can be realistically done by anyone then they are already doing it as best they can.

Chilli don't be so Hot.

Referring to Hannah's phone was that not raised in CSI?

The point I am trying to make is there's a lot of words on here. But are they being directed to where they should really go.. The fact that just one person can stand up and say hey yes I have done this doesn't really speak volumes for progress.

I am trying to bring some constructive proposals to the table here. And in doing that some constructive criticism should be made. Take the Fab drab 4 for example what can they do to stimulate investigations to support their theory's.

When you sit back from a distance and evaluate this terrible crime there is so many failings not least on the part of the UK government for example.

I, like most people watching this case unfold would like to see the true killers of David and Hannah take the executioners bullet. I would also like to feel sure the correct people get it. What we do know from the Thai side is that 3 peoples DNA was obtained from Hannah and only 2 people are in jail pending trial. Serious doubts about their guilt has been raised quite rightly.

So why don't we identify as many departments and people of the UK governments, the National news media who covered the case initially, The Coroners who are ruling on the cases, the local press in the victims home towns. Their MP's as well.

Once we get all their names emails addresses facebook twitter etc then bombard them with requests for answers....???

Just a thought, but more of a constructive approach rather than days of backwards and forwards like playing tennis with each others comments is waste of time.

Everybodys opinions are welcome inc JTJ giggle.gif

For all this chat has anybody done anything at all. Contacted police or MP or anything?

I have made a donation to the defense team and intend to make another on pay day.

I sent an email to England to ask about David inquest.

I post everyday to help keep this in the news for the b2 to get support from people more financially able than myself. In my holiday I intend to go visit them. ?what have you done ?

I think you should be writing to the big UK tabloids asking that they they put up a substantial standing offer for rights to the exclusive story of anyone -- Thai, Burmese, farang, whomever -- who can provide credible substantive evidence to bust this thing wide open.

What on earth are you talking about now ?another novel. As they pay me fairly for my hard earned contributions to this site I shall leave the book deal to the moderators and ya self. I have my feet firmly on the ground thank you very much??

Not being hot just that there have been well over 30,000 or maybe many more posts on this when you add all the other treads and people have been posting tirelessly.

TV also had a part to play with Hannahs phone yes CSI called it out first.

But yes I do agree we need to stop going round in circles. What you are suggesting needs somebody to actually come up with a list as you say and then see who would like to contribute by acting on points from the list. Greenchair is doing a timeline which is great and when finished will be a great help. Who can do the list as you suggest?

So one person has listed something of substance and one person advises him what else to do. But offers nothing himself.

For the 2500 plus comments that's it?

Any more coming forward...

If you're going through all that trouble, pass along these words to whoever will listen: In an admittedly sick and selfish way, it's a shame the mafia on Koh Tao did not follow through with their threat against Sean. Sean being alive gives many people false hope that he will someday man-up and tell the truth, possibly leading to some form of justice in our lifetimes. However, now we're all just stuck in this frustrating 'grey area of kind- of-knowing' instead of blissfully knowing nothing at all. I'd prefer the latter.

I've signed 4 petitions at different stages of this farce if that's any consolation and written the B2 a hopeful message.

I did see XXXXXX has been onto Sean McAnna. No reply as far as I can see.

I will be in Norwich this week and intend to present various information I have collated about Sean McAnna to the MPS representative who will attend the hearing.

If he has perverted the course of justice by his lies and denials then that's a UK issue as well. IMHO.

Please forward on here or by PM if necessary any further info related to him you may consider is important.

In the video where David shakes hands with the guy in the No.9 shirt, check out the guy at the food stall. Is he the guy with the Thai gf in the other cctv still? Both wearing baseball caps, (I think) both wearing glasses. And kinda distinctive the way they both wear their caps over their ears. Does he give a shady look towards David at the end of the clip?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=8_Qcpc5EH3Q

Maybe this has already been discussed to death, but this clip of the shirtless guy has sound. You can hear a phone notification and someone cough as if this cam is attached to someone's pc or laptop rather than a street or bar cam. Maybe the owner of the cam saw something that night...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ojFuzLPp3s

I counted at least 8 cams that footage has been released from in that stretch between AC Bar and D&H's hotel - it seems to me that the island is dripping with cams and yet the powers that be are only releasing about 10 mins of footage for the whole night.

(On a side note - a nod of respect to the Mayor of Koh Tao who, as soon as the murders were reported, put in a budget request for 20 million baht to buy cameras and street lights. To any kids reading this who are interested in getting into politics - take note. This guy's a pro.)

Per 'hush money' post #2531:

So almost 4 months of payoffs and bribes to who knows how many persons -- police, boat operators, taxis, who knows who else -- and not one person has blabbed or boasted to the wrong person who could expose this cover-up. Huh?

I've always thought that a bid odd and to my knowledge there hasn't been much discussion on the boards here about it. I know nothing about CCTV - does a camera pick up sound as well ?

Was Sean's departure from the island a very impressive piece of theatre? Maybe...

  1. If you are going to hang someone in the hills and make it look like a suicide it is probably a bad idea to let the guy know about the plan beforehand - you may spook him.
  2. If you have told the guy and he's now spooked it's probably a bad idea to stand in front of him posing for photos for him to upload to his FB page while you wait patiently on the other side of the counter. A better idea would be to grab the phone from him.
  3. Sean had previously lived on the island for 18 months before taking a break and then coming back. Surely he would know the names of some of the players on the island. Yet his posts on FB that night are about as vague as it's possible to be when he's describing who did what that night. "Owner of AC bar did it". "Guy on the left is the leader". And something like: If I die tonight the guy from in touch did it. Could be that he's intentionally avoiding referring to anyone by name, even though I've since seen posts he's made where he refers to the owner of AC as "Nom", and I've not heard or seen anyone else refer to him by his nickname, so I think it is safe to assume he knew the names of those that were after him...
  4. Check out the shoes he's wearing in the convenience store and boarding the ferry. Who wears a pair of formal lace-ups when living the "island life"? If they are his everyday choice of shoe then tracking his movements should be a breeze - There won't be many similar footprints in the sand. Ask any backpacker who's settled in to the island life and they'll tell you that the only days you wear shoes is the day you arrive and the day you leave (reason: they take up too much room in your rucksack).

The outcome? Sean goes from being a person of interest/suspect to being a "victim" and he gets to leave the island in a hurry with a handshake from the cop and in full view of everyone with no-one raising an eyebrow. He was long gone before anyone started thinking of him as a suspect again.

I'm speculating of course, but if this is how it went down then whoever came up with that plan has got some serious skills.

Exactly what I wrote a few days ago did you read it.

Also he had worked for AC bar before I believe as well. He knew them.

I Think we are all missing a vital thing here. That's Sean McAnna. He is now going under the name of Gianni DeLupo. Type that into FaceBook and it will pop up with the new Sean McAnna.

Sean's link is intriguing. He was friends with David. He was the singer and guitarist in a Leeds band called These Fading Polaroids and Mr Miller was an engineering student. Both lived in the Hyde Park area.. He had obviously spent some time with him on Koh Tao and claims he was supposed to be meeting him on the evening of David's Murder. However he claims he slept on in his bungalow, this formed his alibi for his whereabouts whilst the crime was committed.

Here is my problem and concerns.

Why did Sean sleep in. Koh Tao is about Night-time fun and drinking. He was also playing music to get money. It is said he had worked in the AC Bar. This wasn't his first trip to Koh Tao and he clearly knows the scene there, the people who run it, the owners and DJ's. He had previously spent 18 months living and working as a barman on Koh Tao. Why wasn't he out when the place comes to life. A lot of these guys sleep in the day and party at night don't they.

David and Hannah where in the AC bar the night of their murders.

He obviously knew Mon. Mon is the older brother of the Headman. and Uncle to Nomsod. They own the AC bar.

Sean had some injury's similar to David. They looked like puncture wounds. He also had blood on his Guitar. Was the blood there because he ran with his guitar from the scene with his arm bleeding.

Is it possible that they heard a commotion and he went with David when they realised Hannah was being raped.

Did he run when it kicked of and David was being beaten down. Taking his trusty guitar with him that he carry's everywhere.

Was his life spared by the Thai's because they knew him. He had worked at the AC bar playing for example. Or perhaps he was just a coward and realised he wasn't up for a fight. Perhaps he even realised he could be killed and took off. Self preservation.

Now I don't think that Mon and the plainclothes copper goes after Sean for no reason. They wanted him to keep quite. To get off the Island and be gone.

You don't chase people into shops and around streets if you don't want to put the fear off god into someone. They knew he was a liability.

He was squealing a frightened Pig. Texting phoning and raising his profile to save his backside and get the help he needed to get away. Which he did achieve and he was off. Not to Scotland but Milan. He has not sold his story as far as I can ascertain but uses an alias. His sister Nicola has changed hers to Nic. You may remember she was frantically texting on FB with Sean while they were trying to get him some help.

We also had the pity from Sean. writing on David's Facebook shortly after it happened

TUE 16 12:30pm

“Nah man. Please tell me it’s not you.”

on DMs facebook page/now tribute

exactly 30mins later this

“I loved you so much brother. I know you tried to save her. You are the most honourable guy I’ve ever met. From getting mauled by a honey badger giving out sleeping bags to homeless people, to just partying like there’s no tomorrow. I will miss you terribly. I’m sorry I didn’t come out with you that night. Really my heart is breaking. The legend that is Dave Miller. https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1 … =3&theater“.

Sean is now posting on David Facebook page as Gianni and dedicated a song to him.

Something stinks here. Out of all the people on Koh Tao at the Time why on earth would the 2 Thai men target Sean. There's hundreds of people there. Why not Chris Ware?. In fact why would those 2 men target anyone?

I Rest my case M'lord.

For now ;-)

Nice, OK I am not even sure if English is GC's first language,

You have come up with some good stuff especially related to Sean and I agree with you as him being the weak link, I too am hoping the Inquest sheds some extra light on it all, twood be better if it blew the whole thing out of the water................as in the rumors about what actually killed Hanna !!!!!!!

Tis a shame I can't join you at the Inquest I bet it will be a packed house.

Happy New year to you and all

Willydrunk.gifburp.gif

Hi Willy,

Thanks for the compliment.

I guess you have watched Sean speaking in the Taxi. But if not its attached to here.

http://youtu.be/cYpVqTxrlJM

You will note he is so Vague. I went to a bar....... (yes he did he had also worked there) where a guy started asking me questions... (that guy was the owner Mon and he would have known him as he had been his boss) Because he knew that I knew the guy that had died... (how would he know that? Had he seen David with him? No surely not as he didn't make the meeting did he. He slept in as he was so drunk. So he missed his meeting with David on the Evening of the 14th David's body was found on the 15th at 6am... and Sean posts to Davids face book on the 16th where he exclaimed:

TUE 16 12:30pm “Nah man. Please tell me it’s not you.”

then 30 minutes later he posted

"I loved you so much brother. The legend that is Dave Miller"

Note the:

I’m sorry I didn’t come out with you that night

What Night? why would he refer to the Sunday Night as that night. He is making a statement for people to read isn't he?? he is saying to everybody....... I didn't go out with David that Night. I wasn't there.

Where had Sean been in the interim. The whole island was awash with police and I bet there wasn't a soul there who didn't hear on the Monday. Was he getting his head straight with what he had seen or been involved in?? Something happened.

He said he had heard my name mentioned. We can safely Presume he is referring to Mon. So why would Mon have heard Sean's name mentioned surely not he was in bed. Nobody would pick his name out of thin air. Firstly he hadn't met up with David only arranged to (He Claims) But 3 of them sat down with him. Why? he had nothing to do with it did he. Why didn't they say. Oh Sean sorry about your friend. very sad. Have a drink with us. Terrible hey very (Or Vely) sad......

They said he had 2 peoples death on his hands. They know it was you. Why would they say that. His friends just died? He has just came in the Bar where he had worked. What reason would they say that.. Its not a normal response from a human being.... Thai or not..

Then he says they reckon he is goner hang......... Yeah right... Fuller B/S. That's not what was said. He done a runner because he they wanted him away off the island for a very good reason. He was petrified. He wanted to lay down a marker in Public in case they bashed him in sure I understand that. But he isn't coming clean with why they where going to bash him in.

He refers to them as scary people. well he would know that wouldn't he. He had had first hand experience of this crowd. He had worked for them and he knows what they are capable off. Hence his fear when it blew up in face.

He needs a way out... sure he did... he needed to get away from this situation I don't doubt before he cops it.

If you put this in front of a professional analyst who works out if someone is lying then they would pull it apart. It is Vague without names. Its an attempt to explain away that evening in the shop without getting into specifics.

Anyway over to the Armchair detectives.

And Happy New Year... and lets hope 2015 brings a Conviction of the B'stards who killed David and Hannah R.I.P.

Jimmy bkk Read this as well.

I posted this break down of seans speech

My apologies if this has been covered as I haven't been following this particularly well but a couple of questions.

Has the UK inquest been postponed and if so what is the reason given ?

Was the unfortunate Frenchman on the island at the time of the murders ?

I have made a donation to the defense team and intend to make another on pay day.

I sent an email to England to ask about David inquest.

I post everyday to help keep this in the news for the b2 to get support from people more financially able than myself. In my holiday I intend to go visit them. ?what have you done ?

I think you should be writing to the big UK tabloids asking that they they put up a substantial standing offer for rights to the exclusive story of anyone -- Thai, Burmese, farang, whomever -- who can provide credible substantive evidence to bust this thing wide open.

I flicked through the old news reports yesterday on TV. Going right back to the first report on 16th September. It was interesting reading. It talks about the night Sean turned up with blood all over him. Even says the name of the worker that helped him. Then there is the report of mon being a 70% match on the dna. And also the copper saying mon is still a suspect since it is him in the video. There are many reports about Sean. He was the original person who fingered mon and his crowd. However. From what I have seen the Brits are staying right out of this investigation. So I can't see you having much luck possum.

I see this as quite unlikely. What is the motive for Mon and his police enforcer to paint a target on themselves by going along with such a facade. Why does the video in the tuk tuk with the mirror reporter, ending with Sean on the 3 pm ferry, show no signs of any police presence? Was the mirror reporter part of this elaborate plot?

I think Mon was smart not pressing things further at the convenience store. Forcibly removing Sean then, with him showing up dead a few hours later would make it imperative to suppress the CCTV footage and some of the 150 police drafted to the island were probably not reliable.

Some are wondering if he was the guy in protective custody of the police

JLCrab post #2556

Per 'hush money' post #2531:

So almost 4 months of payoffs and bribes to who knows how many persons -- police, boat operators, taxis, who knows who else -- and not one person has blabbed or boasted to the wrong person who could expose this cover-up. Huh?

A valid comment,

However at the moment there is little or no pressure, however if and when people are called into the witness box then strong financial walls start to crumble.

The average witness has the memory span of a goldfish(about 3 seconds) thus when questioned the variety of answers to repeated questions tends to expose the romantic notions that were induced by financial dreams that came true in the shape of filthy lucre.

Liars need good memories and immense courage to carry through and sell the product that they have received remuneration for.

Talk is indeed cheap, however a memory is priceless.

Just the sheer number of persons hypothecated to be involved in this cover-up leaves me incredulous that everyone involved should exhibit such discipline up to this point.
