Quick Dtac question about add-on packages and calls.

Featured Replies

I want to add the 199 add-on internet and facebook package that gives me 1.5gb of 3g data. This seems to be the best deal for internet.

Is this possible to just use the "add-on" package? Or do I need to buy a package first? They show both packages and "add-on" packages. It would seem to me a add-on is in addition to a package.

The other important question is if I buy this 199 baht add-on package only will I be able to make phone calls? If so how much will they cost per minute?

The reason I ask is because they do not show a price for calls for this 199 baht add on package it only says "3G 1.5 GB", while other packages include sometimes 1.49 baht per min.

Here is the link for the package, just scroll down to the 199 baht internet and facebook

Thanks

Yes, you can add just the data package. The cost of calls depends on which SIM you have.

Anyway to figure out how much my calls will be? I bought the sim card in 711 and it was all in thai, I have no idea. I think I have 15 baht credit for the 49 purchase.

You could stick some credit on it, make a call, and see how much it costs.

Aim has just stolen about 300 baht off me. I asked for a pay as you go sim. I was not told of the add on for the Internet . I made one phone call. Because I never used the Internet I lost all my money. So is that not theft.

I think what may have happened is that without an internet plan you will be sucked 1 baht per minute if your data on your cell phone is turned on. You have to turn this off.

I've got hit with this also in Philippines because even though I knew about it I forgot to turn off the data once after using it.
