....and won't be back until July?

I have been teaching here in Pattaya for the past 18 months.

I know that I will get a tax statement from my school in January and

normally I have until the end of March to go to the Tax Bureau in

Jomtien to square up.

But....there is a possibility that I will not be back in Thailand until July (or later).

Is there any way to have someone else go there with my paperwork?

Do I just wait until I get back? Will it affect my entrance back if I haven't

paid my taxes yet?

No one at work can give me a straight answer.

Why don't the school pay it money under standard PAYE practice's ? Why wait till year end ?

It will not affect you getting back in, but if you don't square things up it may be problematic come WP/extension renewal time

I think the fine for paying late is small.

I'd suggest that you contact the Revenue Dept and ask their advice.

I submitted late one year and it was great. Tax office had no queue and the 'penalty' for late filing was tiny.
