Sandman77 Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 When I applyed my non immigrant I visa in my Thai consulate in austria, I got the information from the consule man that he got the unaffical information that there will be a immigration law change that non immigrant o visa holders , that are married in thailand , simple must visit a immigration office before 3 month are over, and get extension stamp for one year without leaving or any bank statement needed anymore ! You will have to show 400k baht in a Thai bank or proof of 40k baht to get a one year extension of stay. There has always been no need to leave to get an extension.
