Confused with 2 entry tourist visa.

Featured Replies

This have maybe asked here many times, but not find clear answer from last page post.

I flew to thailand and had 30 days "visa". Then I go to Laos and made 2 entry tourist visa where I have soon used 60 days. Can I go stamp that like before to immigration office and get 30 days more? Before that 30days ending I think to go Cambodia and I have think to stay there 3-6 days and then come back and get again 60+30 days. Have I understand right? After this I need go my home country and think to make new two entry visa and come back. You think there is any problem if I stay like 2-4week in europe and come back and again do same 60+30 + 60+30? Need I somewhere show some extra documents or proof I have money enough in bank?

Strange you have not found clear answer because it's explained every day.

The first 30 days are called visa exempt, not "30 days visa".

You can extend each tourist visa entry for 30 days more at immigration, cost Bt 1,900.

You do not need to stay any number of days to activate a new entry. You can re-enter immediately.

You do not need to go your country to get a new tourist visa. You can get it in e.g Laos, Malaysia.

I need visit in home country so need to go smile.png Few years ago I try make in Oslo double entry visa, but I don't get more than one entry when I had fly ticket to Bangkok and before 90 days end from BKK to Phnom Penh. Need I have for second entry tickets back to Thailand and after second 90days end also tickets outside from Thailand if I want make double visa? That time I understand one outside is enough, but still not receive.

You can extend your first entry at Immigration for another 30 days at 1900 Baht, you then need to cross border and can come straight back, no need to stay for X amount of time. You will then get another 60days which you can then extend again for another 30 days for another 1900 baht. You can go back to Loas for another tourist visa and start the process all over again. Not sure how many tourist visa you will get from same Embassy.

To satisfy the outgoing travel requirements you can use some of the methods listed below, even if the topic was written for a different purpose:
