Chiang Mai Ram Hospital - very poor service, ridiculously high bill

Don't know whats all the fuss about. I often go there, yes it doesn't look on par with other private hospitals. But apart from 1-2 instances I recieved a really good care. Upon amdmission if I wanted to see any other specialist it was arranges very quickly. The GI specialist was a bit of a a....le he kind of gave up on me quickly. Another doc wanted to remove my tonsils but ENT doctor said not to do it.

Last time I got very bad tonsil infection I admited there with fever over 40 C I was near the point of fainting. Doctor quickly made all tests and put me on 2 antibiotics through IV and one Dynastat shot for fever. By morning my fever was gone and I was discharged 2 days later.

I was at Bangkok Hospital CM but did not like any specialits at all, very bad service. My endoscopy was delayed for 3 hours. Had to wait for room over 2.5 hours in the lobby. All document processing takes ages, nurses have no idea what and when is something happening. 3 months after my endoscopy I still wait for biopsy results that I requested over the phone 3 tims.

Bangkok Hosp CM is very new, its staff recently recruited so let's hope this is just growing pains and that matters will improve with time.
