Troll Post Categories

Featured Replies

Was viewing a thread in the Pattaya section (where else?) and a Mod's posting, indicating the reason for posts being removed, got me thinking. Doesn't happen often, I can tell you!

The Mod post was:

One troll post, one slur post and one flame post removed.

(Thanks to petercool)

Now, my thoughts are:

1)What other types of post justify instant removal?

2)Where a post contains more than one reason for being removed, is this noted by the Mod?

3)If the answer to (2) is no. Is there a pecking order of removal reasons that the Mod should ensure that the more serious reason gets mentioned ahead of a less serious infraction?

4)Are the Mods given training to identify and accurately describe posts that need to be removed?

5)Finally, are any prizes offered (or even just some recognition given) to the poster who pens a post with the highest number of different reasons for removal?

Yes, it's a slow day for me. Most of the news outlets are on the Sydney incident and I just needed a bit of light relief.

Think you might need to read the forum rules re: "no discussion of moderation".

This topic is in violation of the following forum rules:
