Nice Hotel For Onr Night Only - Bangkok

Hi

Going to LOS on Sept 1st. Spending a day and night in Bangkok so we can do my GF's visa application. Whilst there we want to do a few tourist things..

Any rcommendations for a nice hotel for just the one night?

Halfway between the UK Embassy and Kaosan Rd? I'm pretty sure there aren't many hotels in that area. If you've only got the one day, maybe you should skip Khaosan Rd and pick a hotel closer to the Embassy.
