Hi, guys.

Does anybody know how to install hi speed ( more than 30 Mbps ) in condo int Pattaya Jomtiet?

I live in Jomtien Viewtalay 2.

I have an ADSL now. But the speed is too slow for me ( 15 Mbps in and 1Mbps out but usualy it is 7-8 Mbps in and 512Kbps out ).

I tried to buy 3BB fiber optic, SBN ( Sophon internet ) fiber and TrueOnline fiber.

But that companies do not install fiber optic in condos. They do it in villas only.

Shit.

Maybe you know how to buy hispeed Internet in Pattaya in condos.

Money is no object.

I dont think you can get really high speed in VT2.

You can get FibreToTheBuilding from both Sophon and TMN Cable but the internal distribution is over regular coax, and if you want full international speed you would need to pay for their premium options, which are not cheap.

And of course you can get ADSL from whoever you want and a premium option with that should provide the full 15Mbs/1Mbs.

It`s impossible. Sophon does not connect rooms to optic fiber. I was to ready pay 100.000THB for 100 Mbps optic fiber but
Sophon connects rooms to TV cable only. The maximum speed is 10Mbps. And the Internet of Sophon is too bad. I have been using it for 3 years.
It's shitty.

That's what I wrote.

FibreToTheBuilding (the building being the downstairs utility room) and then internal coax to your room. Whatever package you have you will need to pay extra for the premium international connection if you want the maximum bandwidth internationally at all times.

I read your answer - but Sophon does not connect my room to the high speed internet. Only 10Mbps by coax. I pleased them many times. But they always answered NO .

And the coax internet of Sophon is too bad. I am no sure if their high speed interner via fiber optic will be better.

I would prefer 3BB or TrueOnline optic fiber. :-)

Maybe I'm not being clear. Yes, the internal distribution is over coax and so you will not get fibre to your room.

Sophon actually describe the connection to that building as FibreToTheNode rather than FibreToTheBuilding http://sbnnet.co.th/residential.html and they fit an EOC slave wifi router in your room, but even so the 20mbs FTTN package advertised on that webpage should be available, at a cost.

TMN cable should have something similar, as I mentioned.
