MrTee
Wow,this is exciting, are you next going to inform us of the number of bugs on the windscreen? Thanks for your input.. Fortunately after dumping its fuel over Bangkok the aircraft landed safely.. I'll see if I can get a bug count for you to keep in your lil booky of trivia .

KhunBENQ
More than one incident today Through the grapevine (Thai family) I was told "Air Asia flight to Khon Kaen had problem/return". And yes just found report about that. Edited December 30, 2014 by KhunBENQ
Sirpia
2 planes returning to Bangkok after take-off today. Number of bugs on windscreens: unknown.
MrTee
Oops thats funny. Through the grapevine (Thai family) I was told "Air Asia flight to Khon Kaen had problem/return" Some info lost it seems. I think that was a separate incident .. TG916 was in a holding pattern for > 1 hour over Bangkok.. Still havn't seen any reason for it.. There has been recent number of air incidences and yesterday's close call at Gatwick was a lucky escape. Bugs aside, there are a number of folk that read here that may have had friends or family on TG916. I have a lot of folk that fly that route.. I read the AA flight had returned DM airport and was checked over.

Xircal
Problem was due to a hydraulic leak apparently. Pix of the fuel dumping process here: https://www.veooz.com/photos/KI7bxbv.html
