Helping hands

I hobbled from my condo to the restaurnt, the broken collar bone jarring occasionally, the tightening skin of bad road rash on my leg painful. The general bruising still sore. I reached the few steps leading up to the restaurant.
Immediately there were arms from staff reaching out to help. I was guided to a chair and aided to sit down. The bottle of water arrived. My arm in a sling, the water was opened and poured. My cheeseburger and fries arrived. Seeing me struggle one handed, they cut my burger into quarters.
After the meal I was helped out of my chair, guided down the steps and waved on my way with a cheery smile.

No, customer service is not yet dead.

You poor little thing.......so vulnerable......so fragile......you really want a cuddle from uncle Costas.

Wish you better soon and if you need anything don't forget that uncle Costas can give you better customer service than any restaurant in Thailand.

And you are right.

Thais do care for other people.........sometimes.............but your OP had nothing to do with customer care but only with the display of their kind heart.

You have my sympathy re the broken collar bone; not much fun at all!

People are wonderful providing you are spending money.

Try being down on your luck, out of money, destitute and in need of some charity, then see how helpful people can really be.

Actually he smashed a plate over his head. He's good at that!

I have been and the Thais are.

Nice Story, I understand where you are coming from.

Have the wounds healed?

Feeling Better?

I ride sometimes and my biggest fear is a lazy soi dog or an inattentive pick-up driver.
