WSJ had some "decent" adult jokes but most of it was trash..totally degraded Thai women (rude and crude) and basically misrepresented (I hope) how most Western men look at women--not thinking Thai bar girls are like one of those blow-up dolls to release ones "desires" with. The 3 expats involved with this garbage was lucky some motorcycle guy didn't knock them off.

The paper folded a year or two ago and the online version followed last October.

The "most credible, friendly, reassuring" ex-publisher of Pattaya Times was recently convicted of extortion; a fact that was not as widely reported as it should have been.

One down, several more to go.

WSJ was so obnoxious.... I loved it. Reminded me at times of National Lampoon. I saved a few copies (wish I'd saved more).

Rupert Murdoch would beg to differ.

The PT had a column ask Drew Noyes giving investment and legal advice. Did anybody take advantage of the info?

Last year I saw another of those papers (PP) at foodland and BKK bank in large numbers and you could just take a copy for free.

Most don't bother with hard copies anymore when you got e-net.
