domdom
Hello My information is that now in Thailand you can stay with a tourist visa 90 days.. Then you have to leave the country for 90 days before doing the same procedure and enter again for 60+30 days, which allows to live in Thailand 180 days a year maximum with tourist visas.... I am told that going through Vientiane you can get 2 visas 90 days double entry following one another and then a single entry.. which would allow you to stay in Thailand 2 times 90 days, which is 180 days + 90 days (with extension).. Does it sound right to anybody ?? Thanks for info Have a nice sunday
Maestro
You can get back-to-back tourist visas as long as tourism is the purpose of your trips to Thailand and, if challenged by the consulate where you apply, you can convince them that this is the case. ubonjoe
There is no rule that says you have to remain outside the country for any amount of time to get another tourist visa nor is there is a rule that limits the time you can stay on them in a year. There are some embassies that set there own rules and will not issue them unless you have been out of the country for a period of time set by them though (Paris is one). Vientiane has no such limit. The will issue as many a 3 two entry tourist visas back to back.
Suradit69
My information is that now in Thailand you can stay with a tourist visa 90 days Tourist visas come in different flavors. A single entry tourist visa would given you 60 + 30 days, but if you get a 2 entry or 3 entry tourist visa, you can get 60 + 30 days, exit the country and immediately return for 60 + 30 days and, on a triple entry visa, do the same a third time as long as you make the second & third entry before the "use by" date printed on the visa sticker. The two-entry visa isn't that difficult to get. The three entry visa, not as easily obtainable depending on where you try. Or, as said above, after using the single entry tourist visa for 60 + 30 days, exit and get another visa, depending on the conditions set by the embassy/consulate you use.
