ED visa - 60 days extension now?

Hi all

Just asking for a friend as it piqued my curiosity. She told me that immigration now only go gives 60 day extensions instead of 90 days for Non-B ED at the same 1,900 Baht charge as before. Can anybody verify that?

The 60 day extension has been reported before and discussed in other topics about it.

It has only been reported for Bangkok and not everybody gets a 60 day extension. It depends upon how well a person does on a test of their Thai language skills.
