Strawberry season in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

I would have agreed they were crap in Thailand until I tasted those ones last week. They can produce decent sweet strawberries in Thailand. I try to avoid buying them at Rimping though, because whoever their supplier is, they keep picking unripe fruit, which is just a complete waste of money.

Was in BKK 2 weeks ago, they were selling the green stuff in front of the BigC, opposite Central World, and people were happily buying. Can only say moving to CNX was the best thing we've done in decades :)

I would be careful though, nit sure what this stuff is sprayed with.

I just saw my wife had put them in a plastic bowl of water and looks like a touch of dish washing liquid. biggrin.png

This is something that my wife always has around and just thought it was maybe a milder dish washing liquid. Looking closer it is specifically for washing fruits and vegetables and what she used for the strawberries. Didn't know there was such a thing. smile.png
