I see the NOTW knobs have been at it again. Apparently they reckon SAF and his £50m summer 'warchest' will be luring Bale with Carrick moving to the Lane as he wants firsy team football.

Failing to spot......Bale signing a new contract in the summer......£50m is barely enough......and Carrick wouldn't make our reserve team.

More <deleted> anyone?

I read that too. Total crap. Barring serious long term injuries to about three of our current crop, Carrick would have no chance playing first team for us. Utd did their usual spending stupid money and they can keep him. 18.6m :whistling::rolleyes:

Read an interesting article that suggested Bale could be turned into a striker, same as Wenger did with Terry Henry. Not out of the question by any stretch of the imagination. Would that mean that our manager might give the hugely underated Nico Krancjar a starting place on the left where he would definately score more than Modric.

Iv'e heard that Arri is going to have him cloned :o we can then play him left back, left mid, centre forward and in goal when Gomes is injured :D

Tigerfish, you are desperate to become a Tottenham supporter arn't you. You seem to have a sense of humour so a fish out of water on the gooner thread. I sense that you want to be a part of the Tottenham revolution (give it time, when Bergerac finds singher we'll get a response to this)

You are under consideration but no guarrantees. :)

no thanks!

after 3 and a half years spent out in israel witnessing briths and the act of circumcision. plus having my nether regions cut half to pieces in a night of passion by a sex starved drunken nurse who managed to get my old boys foreskin stuck between her two front teeth. sad.gif

i think i will pass and keep my " coq " safe and out of harms way. seen enough blood split to last me a life time in that area and dont fancy going through the process again. especially at the age i am now and without any anesthetic. laugh.gif

Sounds like your sexual experiences out there turned into total carnage. :( Have no fears, the worst that can happen at WHL is getting struck down by a dodgy cheese bagel. :D

carmine is right you know you display very unlike Arsey tendencies even daring to post here......but try to at least make some sense.

Bale is a great young player.....and his best position is almost certainly as an attacking midfielder....as yet.....however looking at the goals he is capable of its not beyond him.

Whatever position he plays its always a pleasure to watch.....and in the same exciting way as a young Giggs. Yes tigerfish he's that good and if you can tear yourself away from your hairy Arse porn vids for a moment you will see why. ;)

^ blimey smokie, getting a bit touchy these days. laugh.gif

as a matter of fact, i do happen to think that bale is a very good talent, but still stand by what i said about the manager. even you guys raised the point at the weekend about why he was playing out on the right, let alone why was he even playing and not being given a breather. considering the fact that you have other players in your squad that could cover that position and arent even being given a run out.

i guess the big question is though and what should be more of a concern and another thing you've highlighted is, how deep are his loyalties to the club, will he eventually get tired of playing for a manger that hasnt got a clue. will spurs do their usual trick of every time having a good player think of the money they can get for him and sell him, instead of looking after the young lad in all aspects and will he finally wake up one day and realize that he aint going to win anything with spurs and put in a request to move to a club that will 1. have a manager that knows how to look after him, utilize him to his full strength, know when to give the lad a break and give him the firm belief that he will get rewarded for his efforts.

after all it wouldnt be the first time a spurs fan has seen one of their best players leave and move onto pastures greener, now would it. biggrin.gif

Not only is Tigerfish a Spurs fan, i reckon he's a season ticket holder. The whole business with Arsenal is just a double agent type thing.

As a regular on the Spurs thread you have ample oppotunities to read his many posts. Written with passion for the club. Enough i say. Bring him back into the fold and out of the lonely wilderness that is the Arsenal thread. A cold dark place that no one goes where no one speaks.....bar the odd poncy French word.

He'd need a few more cut n paste jobs......I never mentioned the manager tiggerfishy and that was no accident......:D

Anyway loyalty is measured in£££ these days just ask Fabregas.....after all his 'beloved' Barca simply can't afford the transfer fee.

How tragic for the lad.......its a good job he 'loves' the library. Oh wait a minute....!

Iv'e been trying to fathon out that how comes Tigerfish is not the normal run of the mill gooner IE boring, quiet, personalityless, deranged, grouchy, naive, sneaky, timid, flippant etc but i knew that there was something not right with him, then i saw it :o a post implying that he is really a RUGBY FAN :whistling: , lets face it anyone who is a rugby fan know's jack about football thus his fondness for the goons and he is obviously a newcomer to football and probaly still learning the basics, i would imagine that he will soon turn his full attention back to the funny game after watching arsole's mob of pansies :D

Here's how his post about Ruggers started

o.k. so here goes. im a fan of the ancient art of egg chasing, as some would like to put it.

very good alfie, but unfortunately your way off the mark !

and without wishing to blow my own trumpet, like id do such a thing. biggrin.gif and unlike most armchair experts whistling.gif i happen to have been fortunate enough not only to liking and taking an interest in more than one sport, but have also been lucky enough and had the pleasure to play loads of different sports and represent schools, boroughs, counties and various clubs at all levels in numerous amounts of competitions.

i represented my school in every sport possible that could be taken part in and was always getting into trouble with my teachers and parents for taking so much time off out of lessons to do so.

i was part of a very successful football team that won both cup and league competitions all through the years and went onto represent my borough at county level, whilst playing for clubs outside of school time and well into my late twenties.

was captain of the cricket team and rugby team, where we were lucky enough to have a teacher on the staff at my school who played for my local club wasps and had been capped by england. i guess you could say this is were i first got a taste and love for the game and later went onto play for wasps at a lower level and have had an affection for the game ever since. from touring with clubs to places such as australia, s.africa, france, ireland, scotland and wales too following both my club and country worldwide when ever i get the chance.

i also represented my school at athletics, badminton, basketball and swimming.

my real passion though and has been from as long as i can remember picking a club up, is golf. every spare moment spent while i was a youngster and through my teens was spent either, playing, caddying or putting in countless hours down the driving range or on the practice ground. i belonged to a very good club back in london, that although being stuck in the dark ages had no choice but to let myself and 3 other friends win countless trophies and cups for them at tiger level (5 handicap and under) at county level. it even got to a point were i was seriously considering a future in the game which meant that i would finish my schooling and seek out a scholarship in the u.s. to gain the necessary qualification to become a professional, as i had already got my handicap down to 4.

but like so many teenagers other things started to grab my attention and became more important. you know things like girls, drink, travel, sex drugs and rock n roll, as they say.

i still love my sport and you only have to talk to my wife to find out how much of an inconvieniance it can be to our married life. as i still spend so much of my time either in front of the box watching something or the other or still trying to participate in any kind of activity that brings out my competitive edge, all be it for a crooked knee and a right ankle thats just about knackered from doing my ligaments in so many times.

as for my association to the arsenal, ive always been a gooner ever since the day i was born. mum knitted a red a white bobble hat when i was a toddler to keep me warm for when my old man and uncle first took me to see my first game at highbury. the whole family are arsenal from grandparents, aunties and uncles, cousins to nephews and nieces that span the whole breadth of north and north west london. from islington up to east finchley, the outer counties across to harrow and kilburn. although there is one runt in the family, but we wont go there. laugh.gif have loads of mates back in the u.k. that from either my childhood days or through work i have been to see the gunners with and still keep me up to speed as to whats going on at the club the wright side of n. london and always ask when i will next be back, so they can get hold of a ticket for me or give me their season ticket pass card so i can go and see my beloved arsenal.

so there you go alfie ! give me a ball of any kind, a bat, racket, in fact anything that will stimulate my mind in that kind of sense,as long has its got something to do with sport im like a dog with a bone and wont let go until ive got the best out of it and ive given it my all. jap.gif

Well that certainly was an answer. The tigerfish answer to the Gettesburg address!!!!

Not the typical "my name is .....i am an Arsenal fan:( " post is it. I think there should be a separate "tigerfish speaks" thread. That ways he won't have his enthusiasm and personality ripped from him by the Arse thread.

It was a good answer though. I usually get bored with long posts and skip through them. But that kept me interested.

Probably all made up though. He really just like knitting like his Grandma did :D

i wish it was mr BJ.

especially the part about my golfing exploits, seeing as the 3 other friends of mine that i played with at junior level went onto to for-fill their dreams in the golfing world. one went onto play in the open at royal troon, another is now the pro at one of the top courses in ireland and the other guy went to the states on a scholarship, got his qualifications and pro licence/card and is now doing very nicely down under. sad.gif

Is Dawson fit yet? Will Pav start for this one?

And let's hope Neville gets a game at right back today......that would make my day. :D

Dawson won't be fit for about 2 weeks. pav should hopefully play as i really can't stand another 90 minutes of Crouch making a cock of himself.

Hopefully the referee will show an equal hand this time. The penalty decision two seasons ago when we were 2 nil up was a farce, lets not have six minutes fergies time if we are winning and if the Neviller demonstrates a repeat of his performance last weekend can he please be sent off!!!! :D

Have a sneaking feeling we might atlast get something at OT. :ermm::rolleyes:

If we take our chances we should come away with at least a point. hel_l we should at least be able to dominate the midfield.....particularly as its certain we start wth one up front.

This is the poorest Man Yoo team in near on 20 years....in fact sod it we should beat this rabble comfortably. ;)

I just hope it is a good game to watch end to end stuff.

They have never won at united in the premier league i think it was 1990 when they last won 1-0 gary liniker?
