Retirement extension with 2 passports

Anyway here it is.

I have to go get my annual extension this week o major worries have the letter for money and taking the gf for address issues. (it seems to help)

Here is my question.

I had to get my passport renewed and I now have a brand new "empty" passport.

I have my old one with me so that is ot a problem.

My question is do I make photocopies of everything in the old passport as well as my new passport to hand in?

Are ther any surprises i should be ready for

I am not going to CHANG WATTANA ( i ive in beautiful pathum thani) 30 minutes to get extension new 90 day and multiple stamps

You will need copies of your old and new (photo page) passport pages plus you your TM6 departure card to have your stamps moved to your new passport. They will want at least the pages showing the visa that you used to get the entry you have been extending and the entry stamp from it and your most recent extension.

You will need a transfer stamps request form. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/transferstamp.pdf

You may also need a letter from you embassy stating you got a new passport from them.

Once you have transferred the stamps to your new passport you will need copies of the stamps to attach to your extension application. You should not need any copies of your old passport.
