It depends on the reason for which you need a B visa.

You don’t need a B visa for that. Are you sure you are not just trolling? I am not.

B stands for business. The reasons you give do not relate to business, which means that you do not qualify for a B visa.

have a read about non-imm visas on the main site ... then pop back over to the forums and look to see what is in the visa forum that pertains to that ....

that being said .... you probably won't be getting a multi-entry anywhere around here ... may mean a pricey trip home

Such a coincidence... The sponsor of this forum has just what you are looking for for about 7,200 Baht....

Curious… (I am planning on buying one of these too next year) Has anyone on the forum actually bought this service from our sponsor and what was their experience? Did you have any problem with any Embassy/Consulate accepting it? What is the odds of being rejected? Can this be done more than 1 year in a row?

hi ya yeah that is the non immigrant visa, a few companies are willing to give you a sponser letter for a price the one i was talking about is supplied by a company called thailand long stay..

if you get that visa through sunbelt asia or someone else you have to be in your home country to apply..

From the information you have given I don't think you are entitled to any of the non-immigrant visa classes :o

The B visa is intended as a business visa, so unless you are conducting business you shouldn't really apply for one.

AFAIK the intention of the letters issued by Sunbelt et. al. are intended to allow you to get into the country in order to get started in your chosen business. Sunbelt, please correct me if I'm wrong :D

How are you supporting yourself, your wife and your child? You might consider one of the investment visa classes, otherwise you're in the realms of the tourist visa :D.

Hi I am actually Justine (justine and brad) we have money to support our selves for a number of years, and we would be loking into possible business investments if one comes along that takes our interest we may buy it..

That (according to sunbelt asia) is a business interest and can allow for a non b visa.

Oops, sorry about that error :D

Anyway, you're not going to get multi-entry B visas anywhere in SE Asia, most 'local' embassies or consulates I am aware of are only issuing 3 month single-entry B's (you are supposed to extend when you get your work permit).

The 'looking into businesses' is certainly a valid reason for a FIRST Non-B asking for a second on the same grounds may be pushing the envelope :o
