ELVIS - And I Love You So:

And the song we sing driving back and forth to each other...daughter included at times...knows the lyrics....started out as an easy high scoring Karaoke song before I knew the big E sung it...

Elvis Presley - I'm Falling In Love Tonight. Take 2-3-4-1-1 ( With Lyrics ):

Yes this romantic song came from the movie 'It Happened at the Worlds Fair'.

I may have put this one up before, here it is again. This must surely be one of the most romantic songs of all time.

As a country music singer Vince Gill is only bettered by George Jones.

Enjoy this one again.

ELVIS PRESLEY - AM I READY:

So many great love songs from him....have most but CD's don't age well or carry the original sound

Possum, it is a really wonderful song and brought a wee tear to my eye.

I am listening to it now again and again.T

The lyrics remind me of my parents who were married for 56 years before the old codger decided to die on us. So, if he had stayed alive they would be married 68 years nowadays.

It's my mum's 85th birthday today.
