NBC anchor Brian Williams taking himself off air temporarily

He gets to join Hillary Clinton in getting caught in exaggerating the truth about his experiences in war zones.

It's always sad when the people reporting the news become the news. It doesn't lend anything to his credibility.

Prime case of a man wanting to be something he definitely is not; similar to stolen valor scumbags who want a headline they have not earned. I do not feel any empathy for him, Maybe he needs to quit or be fired for false reporting...but then that would mean about 95% of all journalists would need to be fired for lying too.

Its good Brian Williams is being taken off the air for his repeated less than truthful and embellished adventures. Somehow, I think people should look at Obama's repeated less than truthful statements too. Obama has a long history of being less than truthful and as the liberal media looks the other way. What's up with that?

O'Reilly lies about his awards. See "Lies: And the Lying Liars Who Tell Them."

Personally, I think Williams has more than enough $$ to carry him through the rest of his days, and he should move on and do whatever he wants, no longer burdened by the need to earn a living.

Perhaps a suspension would help members stay on topic. I have removed one post and removing members is a serious consideration.
