Getting a residence certificate

Featured Replies

I know in Samui, and probably in Pattaya and other places if one is staying in a hotel having a 30days stamp, they can get a residence certificate easily, they just need to come to the immigration, tell their address and pay. That's it. Is it possible in Bangkok?

NO, its not possible in Bkk.

Bkk only issues if you do 90 day reporting in Bkk.

Probably have to head to your embassay.

If I have a single-entry 3-months visa? No matter whether I'm staying in a hotel or condo?

Please re read previous answer, NO they will not issue a residence certificate.

Staying at the Oriental or some scuzzy KSR doss house makes no difference, they will not issue one.

You can have a 30 year visa for all they care, you must do 90 day reporting in Bkk, or they wont issue.

Head to your embassay.
