i was just thinking, so many foreigners here stay only for a couple of months at a time and then go back home, alternating throughout the year. what do you do with your house, possessions, pets, etc. when you go home? is there some sort of roaming housesitting service in existence here? (if not i bet it is a niche market). it seems like there should be someone who is insured who could stay in your house, keep it clean, feed your plants and pets while you are gone. anyone know of such a service?

Girlx It would seem not.

I guess that the folk who have pets and plants are more stable than those who don't. The ones with none of these attachments just lock the place up and go away.

Alternatively the maid has a life of relative ease while the owners are away.
