Prayut clarifies why Yingluck was not allowed to travel abroad

2-12-2015-8-27-13-PM-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha today explained why he prohibited the former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra to leave on an overseas trip saying she was going to face indictment for the rice-pledging scheme under the justice procedure.

Gen Prayut said at present authorities were processing case file which engages the former prime minister and therefore he did not want her to travel abroad but would like her to defend herself under the justice system.

He said it was a good thing when her lawyer affirmed that she would not flee the country but would fight the case till the end.

Gen Prayut also clarified that security officials were dispatched to provide security for
her because she is a VP and therefore it would be better to prevent any untoward incident to happen upon her.

" therefore he did not want her to travel abroard and wanted her to defend herself...."

So the director general now overrides judicial power and fair process as well. And there are still those who consider this is not a witch hunt. So much for indendence of the courts.

Anyone facing a charge under this director general and his cohorts would be mad not to flee the country and it raises questions about the influence and decisions of any person previously convicted.

This clown will end up making Thailand the poor sister off SE Asia and he will still have the nerve to blame others. His own military will be his downfall as surely he cannot the smartest of the bunch.

Of course she's going to try and pull a runner. It's in the family genes. Unable to stand up the the mess they have created or defend them selves.

So you believe that Thailands problems have only occurred in the last 10 or so years.

Strange how 100 years of historial facts are available, details of the previous 18 or so coups that failed to achieve any beneficial results and the Shins are considered the root of all evil.

Even more strange is that one group keep trying the same action and have failed each time yet they still do the same again and again.

No, Thailands problems are clearly evident and it's not the Shins. Although it must annoy the director that a man who hasn't set foot in the country for years is still more influential than himself and receives more respect from world leaders. Excluding of couse, the directors new best friends, China and North Korea.

I can't see in Hobiecats's post, where she/he claims that Thailands problems started with Mr. T. and his glorious family.

But in the last 15 or so years, this family was/is the BIGGEST problem (beside many others) for Thailand. Like it or not, but that's a fact.

Hobiecat is also correct about 'unable to stand up the mess ...' - but that's typical here.

Why is it that everybody thinks its the "Shins" bad doings? Couldn't it be that the other side of this is just a bunch of jealous schoolyard kids who dont like them and thereby just been stirring the pot to get rid of them?

Just like what is happening right now with the military and the dictator and Ying. Stirring the pot to get rid of her too.

Of course that is the truth....so simple yet such a difficult concept to understand.

I seriously hope you are not quoting Thai history from research to get your historical facts. Thais history is and has always been written and taught with the facts changed to suit whoever is in charge at the time or to make Thailand seen in the light instead of something dastardly.

Its simple if you choose to ignore the proven history of terrorism and corruption from the Shins and associates.

Did you forget that Big Shin T is currently on the lam, escaping a conviction for corruption.

A fact that requires the PM to put a hold on Yingsy's travel plans - especially as she seems, like you to just ignore the truth that is as plain as day to everyone else.

Wheres the rice scam money?

'What Rice' did I here you say?

After the daily crack downs , we get now a daily clarifying ....... This old Generals are getting very boring, however maybe they can clarify why .....

they haven't file extradition requests and requested Interpol to issue a Red Notice on a well known criminal fugitive wanted for jumping bail and for 15 or so serious outstanding court cases and to serve his 2 year prison sentence?

That would be a good one to clarify.

"He said it was a good thing when her lawyer affirmed that she would not flee the country but would fight the case till the end."

We all know there would be a pretty good chance that if she was allowed to leave, she would most probably scamper. But for the record she said she was going on a overseas trip, insinuating she would return. In that light why should the reporter record that she would (definitely) "flee" ?

In the US people are innocent until proven guilty. In Thailand, just the opposite guilty until they can prove innocent. Little backwards. Also in Thailand, which by the way holds the world record for number of military coups, the military does what they want with total impunity.

Headlines today shows that mindset when the black junta said Ying cant eat noodles without them allowing it....

Do you people really believe that the Shins are the reason Thais government is so jacked up? Oh how soon you forget all the other military coups to overthrow all the governments before. This history started MANY years before the Shins were even born.

What I know is that there are some smart individuals on TV that understand this all. I also know there are some thick headed old farts who left their brains behind at the bottom of a Chang bottle many years ago....if they even had any to begin with.

The color yellow is a made up color by the Army rich and BKK elite as a reason to persecute the "nonbelievers." Nothing more nothing less.
