Hello. I am going to Savannhaket tomorrow for a multi non o based on marriage. I came to Thailand in November on a single entry non o based on marriage. I noticed after i had returned from Glasgow consulate that the lady had written a B visa first, and then changed it to an O. I didn't think it would be much problem so i travelled. I was pulled up by an immigration official who pointed to this correction and i assumed he thought that i had changed it. I took out my receipt only to find that the lady had " amended" that one too. I was lucky as after about 10 minutes and the arrival of another immigration officer i showed my marriage certificate which i always take, and i was let in. Does anyone think i will have any problems in Savannhaket when they look at my previous used visa? . Thanks.

Thanks again Ubon. It looks like a blatant change and was just concerned they would think i was trying to decieve. This is the 2nd time, got my name wrong last year and had to go back down to change it.

For what it's worth....

I have been here on a Non O married to a Thai visa for a few years.

Twice in the past they have mistakenly stamped it as a Non O retirement visa.

It has made no difference.

I pointed it out to an Immigration officer once.

" Mai pen rai"

The next time they did it, I did not mention it.

They never mentioned it either.

Cheers for that[emoji4] Got a shock in November as didnt expect the one letter correction to get pulled up. Probably just an over zealous immigration officer. Glasgow consulate is only about 3 hours drive for me, but this will save me having to go back there this year or flying down to England when i go back to work.

They actually stamped "Non O retirement visa?" There is no such thing and immigrations doesn't do visas anyway.

No, it was stamped in my passport when I applied for an extension of stay, along withthe "under consideration" stamp.
