This event seems rather banal (Yes, I know there's a joke embedded in that word). Also, I didn't know this was the 'talk of the town' until I saw this post. An issue that is so big in many other countries just doesn't appear to concern many Thai gays very much. That's up to them of course, A news story like this would actually damage any serious Thai marriage equality movement. But I suppose given there isn't one ... no worries.
