Can anyone tell me how to play one of these?

I believe it is a "Khlui phiang aw".

Just the basics would be a start.

Yes. If you blow and push the right buttons it plays a full chord. It sounds really nice, but I am musically vacant.

Funny story...

Years ago when Morgan was a baby. We were travelling by taxi through the outskirts of Bangkok. Wife in front passenger seat, me in the back-seat nursing the baby. Doing excess of 100kph. Suddenly the driver reaches under his seat, pulls one of these things out, and starts playing with 2 hands. One foot on the accelerator, the other knee on the steering wheel. He was playing and wife singing along. I was shitting myself, they were having a ball.

It does sound magic when played correctly, which I have heard more than a few times.

Believe I saw something very similar in the hill tribes around Pai....but not sure how that translates into help.....
