BANGKOK: -- In the heat of the fight, a 32-year-old man struck his own penis with a knife early this morning before walking out of the home he shared with his girlfriend west of Bangkok.

A taxi driver spotted the man’s bloody crotch and alerted authorities Nonthaburi authorities, who sought medical attention for the man.

The man, Identified only by his first name “Hama,” told police he had been arguing with his girlfriend. Feeling hurt and resentful, he grabbed a knife and attempted to cut off his penis.
