I recently stumbled across a presentation of <<<<Link removed>>>> from the Defcon 20 Conference where he was talking about how he created a Javascript botnet from scratch and how he used it to find scammers and hackers.

Everything is done via a stock SQUID proxy with small config changes.

TL;DR - All javascript can be injected with a payload, usually malicious......

Good God; it's crazy how simple this is - that article is one minute reading and contains the actual instructions needed to set up a malicious proxy, complete example included.

I use Zenmate which is both free and secure.

If your IP leaks due to WebRTC I guess you're not exactly secure: https://diafygi.github.io/webrtc-ips/

That being said I don't know if anyone is unless they have a plugin like ScriptSafe or NoScript. Most paid VPNs are leaking IPs as well.

3) You will not post about activities or links to websites containing such material that are illegal in Thailand. This includes but is not limited to: gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing, file sharing of pirated material, pyramid schemes, etc. Discussion of the above is permitted only as news items, but never as a "how to" topic.
