2nd hand elliptical trainer machine

Featured Replies

Before buying a brand new top of the art machine that's going to end as a very expensive cloth hanger I'd like to buy a second hand elliptical trainer machine to test our commitment to use it. We are in Bangkok, does anybody know a good place where to find 2nd hand fitness equipment ?

If we use it two hours a day every day I'll no problem to buy a brand new one but for the time being as said in my OP I just want to test our commitment to use it at least a couple of time a week

We got one from Robinsons that we're very happy with for 25k new, reduced from 40k, DK City brand - used daily for an hour a day for 18 months, still silent, no creaks or squeaks and working great. Purely mechanical (and magnetic I think) and just a battery powered tracker / heart rate monitor so very little to go wrong.

Bet you could pick up a similar quality second hand one for 10 - 15k if you keep your eye on BahtSold, OLX.com and the classifieds here.

Strangely I bought one from the Soi Cat and Dog society. Used. Good price. It seems that many people donate decent things for them to sell to raise funds.
