February 26, 201511 yr I went to Savannakhet, Laos, five months ago. We all got our visa the same day - handed in the application in the morning and and could collect our new sticker in the afternoon the same day. Recently somebody told me that Savannakhet has changed their policy and that it now takes two days. You hand in the application in the morning day one and collect the visa in the afternoon the next day. Hopefully this person got it wrong and it is still done in one day ?

February 26, 201511 yr It changed effective the 1st of this month. Apply by 11 am of one day and pick-up at 2 pm the next afternoon.
