suggestion please - easiest way - extent visa 2 days?

Featured Replies

Hi. I am a USA citizen with a US Passport. What are the easiest ways to extend my 30 day visa at least 2 more days (in April), without having to going out and back into Thailand? Thank you in advance for help.

Bob

You can extend your 30 day visa exempt entry for 30 days at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

You have a "visa exempt entry" in the passport which can be extended by 30 days at any immigration office.

Thank you very much. Can you please direct me to a page with details about the process and about what things I will need to take to the immigratioin office? Also, the address of the Chiang Mai office would be helpful. Thanks again! Love Thai Visa Forums!

You will need a completed TM7 application form with a 4cm X 6cm photo attached to it. Download and print 2 sided. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm7.pdf

You will need a copy of your passport photo page, entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card.

Just go to the immigration office, get a number and submit your application.

The immigration office is near the airport. The address is 71 Moo 3 Amphoe Mueang Chiang Mai.

- copy of passport (ID-page and all pages with stamps)

- copy of departure card

- pass photo

- 1,900 bat fee

CM-immigration is near Central Airport, just a few hundred meters towards the airport coming from Central, at the some side of the road.
