Common Mistake, ENTER BEFORE date

Featured Replies

To all who have visa double entry Thai tourist visa issued from Vientiane/Laos and Savannakhet/Laos.

Due to the short month of February the admitted date is passing the date of visa validity.

See example enclosed, this guy admitted until 3rd of March, but need to activate the second entry before 2nd of March!!!!!!!!!

This situation will occur for the coming 2-3month.

If you know that you or some your friends applied for visa recently, please make them aware , so that they do not loose the second entry of their double entry Thai tourist visa.

Thank you post-24765-0-89201800-1425169326_thumb.j

What ?

All entries must be made before the " Enter Before" date.

After that date any remaining unused entries become invalid.

And yes, it is a common error.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

It is a problem because some people don't pay attention to the enter before date. Some people also think it is only to do the 1st entry which of course is not correct.

You don't have to enter before the "Enter Before" date. You can enter exactly on the "Enter before" date. I've done it before with a different visa.

Probably good idea to black out your passport number in future.
