Need tires for my pickup truck,,,,any suggestions in Pattaya for shop?

Featured Replies

I have never purchased tires for a vehicle in Pattaya, any suggestions on tire shops would be appreciated.

Thanks

For best prices, try Deestone on Soi Siam Country Club. About 325 m shy of the traffic lights on the right-hand-side as you head east (away from Pattaya). He doesn't accept credit cards but there's an ATM just about opposite.

Great bec I live on Khoa noi and that is not too far.

I'm guessing that is between Sukhumvit and the railway line???

No. The Nongprue traffic lights are 3.8 km inland from the tracks on Soi SCC (only flashing ambers at the train tracks).

The shop has large Deestone placards on each end facing oncoming traffic but Maxxis on the actual store front. Can't miss it.

TyrePlus, just north of Bangkok Hospital. Never had any problems with their service, and you can get a few baht off the cost of treads if you ask nicely !

Thanks everyone for the advice. I did the Maxxis tires at the Deestone shop on Siam Country Club Soi. They were the best deal for what fit my truck.

Great service, took me in immediately, 3300 baht/tire, includes wheel alignment and balancing. In and finished in about 45 mins.

The owner even gave me his Kawasaki motorbike to go up the soi to the 7/11 and then to Kiss restaurant to get a bite while I waited. He offered without me asking. That is the kind of service very lacking in Thailand, and a breath of fresh air when you get it.

Thanks for pointing me there!!!

Is that the place with a green sign, just before the clock across the Sukhumvit ? Northbound side of the road.

Raro was the TV member that put me onto that shop and glad to hear of another satisfied customer.

Like IMHO, we really appreciate you coming back and posting your good shopping experience.

Hi I went here after reading on many BM posts and agree it has very good prices but no wheel alignment gear tobe seen and the guy said 'No have !' Bought a 215/50/17 VR Deestone 2350baht fitted & balanced, yes the tyre is a slightly noisy but handles well for the price does well in the rain had the same make on the car for 5 years or so now and will continue to use them as they suit my needs & nice to the pocket :-)

So I went to the Sa-Niri tyre place on sukhumvit to get the tracking done(one of many in Pattaya according to the Mrs)(small front to the shop but has an side alley and many bays) and they did a great job 500bht and the car is nice & stable again and tracks true

Will post more accurate name and location after the Mrs wakes up
