thai visa non immigrant O

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I live in Sydney, Australia. My father lives in Thailand on a retirement visa. I am looking to apply for a NON-immigrant O visa multiple entry to spend more time with him. I have enough funds to support myself and I am 23 years old.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Chris

Ye, you can try to get a multiple non-O in Australia based on visiting your father. You will need to show he lives in Thailand and that he is your father. (Copy of his passport with Thai immigration stamp and birth certificate).

Rather than start a new thread,

What about vice versa

I'm here on a non o multiple visa based on marrige.

What visa options would my mother have to stay in the kingdom (she is over 50).

Retirement only?

Both from the UK.

Retirement.

If you were on an extension of stay she could be a dependent of you.

What would mother need to show, as in funds?

For retirement she would need 800,000 in the bank or 65,000 Monthly income.

She cannot be your dependant even if you were on an extension based on Marriage.

Cheers.
