KarenBravo
Good article in the news source that cannot be named. Patong police volunteers have gone on strike due to disrespect shown to the volunteers by the police and their unwillingness to confront in-your-face corruption. Brilliant!

2fishin2
Sooooooo the "general" is taking care of business huh? If some of you could comprehend, you might understand this is actually a pretty big issue. If this is true of course....

jocko
Who expected the real cops to take any notice of the tourist cops when it comes to money. It's sad.

Bogan Koori
I only wish these clowns would withdraw their services island wide. This way we dont have to see the suckholes playing lapdog to the local cops at roadblocks. It disgusts me the way these people with weird dress up fetishes enjoy shaking down tourists with no licences or helmets in cohorts with the local constabulary. Or when they storm through go go bars in Patong in full battle gear complete with combat boots, hand cuffs and pepper spray. If it were put to a vote by all the expats and locals they would have been told to boot off long ago. I dont know how or why it still exists, perhaps it is keeping a few people at the top in cushy well paying jobs. I really wish one of the big newspapers would pick this story up and expose exactly what these clowns are up to. Then get a public opinion on whether they are warranted on the island.
