Costas2008 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I'm waiting to see the posts linking Prayut and disaster management............who is going to be first?
Thian Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Nice but the Thai shopping malls even can't keep the emergency doors clear from vendors, passenger boats don't have lifevests and are still being overloaded. Motorbikes still drive against traffic. Is the Thai tsunami alarmsystem finally working now?
Popular Post NeverSure Posted March 11, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 11, 2015 "...will be visiting Japan on Friday and Saturday..." So, is that two days relief from happiness speeches given with a clenched fist? 3
ExPratt Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Would he not just have to stroll into the surf and turn the tide back ? 2

jayboy Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I'm waiting to see the posts linking Prayut and disaster management............who is going to be first? You were. 1
berybert Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Might be better off attending an anger management course. As for strolling into the surf, no need to turn the tide back. Just keep on walking. 2
Stray Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 "to attend the 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction." Is it official? Or, should they rethink the wording in the article? 2
mogo51 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I thought they had already had a Disaster Mangement conference a year or so ago, call a coup!
upena Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 So much for the no study courses abroad declaration - or is it just for the minions?
kleelof Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 'Disaster Management' Seems he could use some as a politician.
Dogmatix Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Disaster management. Is that a euphemism for the current state of the Thai economy under his stewardship?
elgordo38 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I'm waiting to see the posts linking Prayut and disaster management............who is going to be first? Help Help come to Chiang Mai we have a disaster here called pollution. Do something. 1
elgordo38 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Would he not just have to stroll into the surf and turn the tide back ? And turn the water into wine
Popular Post SOUTHERNSTAR Posted March 11, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 11, 2015 I'm waiting to see the posts linking Prayut and disaster management............who is going to be first? Thanks Costas I will rather ask you how many times the junta leader have been travelling outside of Thailand since he has become junta leader (about once a month)? If I remember correctly you were one of those you condemmed YS when she was on trips. Don't you think there are more serious matters the junta leader must attend inside the country than to visit Japan on such a low key event ? As he can't even manage the army correctly (war draging on in the south, aircraft falling because of the lack of maintenance, aircraft carrier without aircraft, BT 2000 scandal, a blip that keeps on falling etc etc) I won't even comment on the disaster that is happening infront of our eyes. 3
Lupatria Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 May Buddha prevent he's giving a lecture over there
FangFerang Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Two things make me laugh about the story: the first is Fukishima, and the Japanese did a bang-up job on managing that disaster; and the second is the floods in Thailand in 2011. Makes the whole conference sound like The Meeting of Mediocre Minds.
Lupatria Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I'm waiting to see the posts linking Prayut and disaster management............who is going to be first? As a Greek I assume you are a master of disasters of all kinds. It would be cheaper if he calls you for advice. And don't forget to tell him no calls at TV prime time on Fridays because you are busy. 1
trainman34014 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Off on another junket whilst the country is going down the tube....can there be any bigger disaster than that ?
DM07 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I hope, he leaves on Friday! I could have my beer without his great address to the nation...
abitmiffed Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Is it just me or everytime i see a pic of this guy i always think of that American spoof movie with those puppets...can i hell think of the name.

Briggsy Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Friday night = counter-coup while Prayut is out of the country. Army is factionalised.
EnglishJohn Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 And here we have another demonstration of the intellectual level of the anti-junta brigade. Not an intelligent comment in the lot. I remember helping a volunteer group at Ayutthaya when the flooding hit. The organiser called to get transport for a whole load of donated food + water he had received. They told him to call back next week because they were all busy arranging the football match in Cambodia. What a disgrace - both Pheu-Thai and those here criticising Prayuth for taking it seriously. 1
