March 13, 201511 yr I'm currently on a non 'O' multi entry which I got from Savannakhet, my current 90 days finish soon. Previously (on visa exempt) I have gone to immigration with my wife and the necessary documents and got extension for 60 days, I don't want to do a visa run, I would much rather go immigration and get 60 days. I would just like to know if the arrangement is still the same, or do you now need to show income or money in the bank ?.
March 13, 201511 yr It is extremely unlikely that immigration will provide another 60day extension. You must leave country or apply for an extension of stay based on marriage.

Sorry nzexpat, I could have worded that a little better. I'm currently using my 90 days from my last entry in to the country, I have not been to immigration since entering. March 13, 201511 yr You can get a 60 day extension to visit your wife without a problem. There have been no changes.
