Dixie Dregs - Unsung Heroes

its tough to argue against guys like Steve Morse and Gary Moore,

so, instead, I will give you Grechen Menn, songs titled Oleo Strut, Captured Barricade, Scrap Metal, to get you started

my browser isnt allowing me to paste the links, sorry

Dixie Dregs - Unsung Heroes

Forgot they shortened the band name to Dregs for this album in 1981. First track

And remember this one?

At above ^^^^^, from the brilliant Joes Garage album, and probably Uncle Franks greatest ever solo.

Anyway, inspired by another thread, been listening to this for more years than I care to remember.

Always loved Treadmill off Palace Springs rgs.

A nice number from the West Coast boys.

BN, Treadmill wasnt an instrumental.

Anyway a couple of things,

1. Yes you are correct, I do tend to use acronyms too much, sorry, comes from being a member of various different music forums, where everyone knows what is being talked about, I will try and modify my postingss in future, thanks for pointing it out.

2. Palace Springs, holy shyt I thought the '78 Hawklords tour was a low point, this was even worse, no worries, I had already pulled the black and yellow handle and hit 'Ejection'

That bloody awful woman singer Briget Wishart.

3. For some strange reason that track has NEVER appeared on any Hawkwind album, its one of the truely last decent bits of music Dave Brock has written in the last 25 years.

4. I have now come to accept I was more of a Bob Calvert fan than a Hawkwind fan, you want to see some of the things posted on the Hawkwind forums, Dave Brock, a money grabbing capitalst bar steward, never mind, thanks for the concerts albums and good times.

rgs, I know TOPS is not an instrumental, just mentioning it in reference to WOC- same band.

Here's another classic from RB- TMWCA, making a guitar run the gauntlet of emotions as usual
