Shop selling tasteful prints; with or without frames

Featured Replies

OK, I realize 'tasteful' is a matter of opinion.

They are for decorating a condo. Looking for something like reproductions of paintings of still life, flowers, fruit or landscapes. Can be we western or Thai style. Not interested in photos of kittens playing..

Print on demand would be fine also.

There is a stall in Warorot/Kad Luang with hundreds if not thousands - I have bought a few at about 20 baht a pop and had them framed. Nice landscapes etc. look very good.

But the guy gets a bit a*sey if you look at them!!

He has them in wall paper pattern type books and is exceedingly precious about how you turn the pages. My gf wont go there with me now as the guy mutters in thai all the time but I dont understand him and dont give a sh*t. He has a good range and they are great value.

He is kinda in the middle of the part of the market that has an upstairs-he is down Sorry I cant be more precise.

What is by consensus the best quality frame shop in Chiang Mai also sells prints.

Ao Framing

121/3-4 Chang Lo. A. Muang.

Located opposite Suan Prung Gate at the intersection of Tippanet Road.

The best place to buy decent prints, reproduction paintings and posters is the Night Bazaar.

They do try to up the prices as it`s a touristy area, but if you haggle enough their are good deals to be had.

I am in the process of getting art for the townhouse and a new condo. I will probably visit Silpakorn University in BKK next week and talk to some folks.

I have done well at Chatuchak in BKK over the years as well
