How Do I Re-enter The Country With Having Extended Visa Only

Featured Replies

Hello,

It's urgent and I got scrwd by Malaysian Immigration so now i have to leave the country by 24th March. All i have is Thai visa which i extended for the second time and it expires in April, but i didn't take multiple entrances visas. What is the procedure now, am i able to just pay for another entrance at the airport/border, or do i have to go to Thai Consulate here in Kuala Lumpur and ask for a new visa (that would be third Thai visa in a row so there is a chance that they reject me).

Thank you all.

Hard to understand what do you mean. Which type of visa?

Anyway, you cannot pay for entrance at the airport. If your nationality does not allow visa exempt to Thailand, you only choice is a tourist visa. You can have it issued in Penang also.

Apologies, i'm all over the place trying to solve the problem.

It's tourist visa and i'm from Serbia, so, not coming from one of the countries with visa exempt rules.

I extended my Thai tourist visa 10 days ago before leaving to Malaysia, thinking to spend a month in KL. Problem is, I only got 14 days visa for Malaysia and they rejected my visa extension application for another 14 days in Malaysia today. I have to leave the country by 24th March so I wanted to know if i can enter Thailand with the extended visa I have.

I see now that i can't because i don't have multiple entrances visa, i guess i will go to Laos instead where i can get visa on arrival.

Thanks for replying.

I would try getting a tourist visa in Kuala Lumpur, or even better Penang before throwing myself to Laos. If you apply Monday you would receive it Tuesday, day on which you would leave from the Airport anyway.

Very good suggestion ubonjoe!
