Golden Retriever found near Krasang

Featured Replies

This morning I found a fine young male Golden Retriever in the road behind Ta Ko Pian village near Krasang. He was in excelleent condition.... and followed me home. No collar. About 2 years old, I guess.

If you think he's yours, pm me.

Great dog. Hope he finds his owner but if not I'm sure he found a good home.thumbsup.gif

He's a real beauty....and a big softy. My two dogs, a 10-year-old GSX and a 2-year-old toy poodle, are not happy with him yet, but they'll get used to him if nobody claims him.

Astonishing that a dog like this, not cheap, and well kept, should be straying without a collar. I suspect farang ownership, which would have made him follow me rather than one of the locals. I've tried him with a chain round the neck and with a collar, but he didn't like either.... which is also odd!

Hope you find his family but as someone already mentioned, you sound as though you'll look after him.

Sad to see how so many dogs are so badly treated here.

IB:

All five of mine are still in the yard. Good animals and they make a good pack.

Might have slipped his collar and went for a walkabout. I hope you find the owners and glad he landed in the right place.

I found his owner this morning (by shanks' pony, not forums). He has a workshop in a nearby village. The dog is not trained, and seems to run more or less wild.... but it is in excellent condition, so obviously the owner is taking good care of it.
