With all the problems with ED-visa now, what are the good alternatives ?

Tourist visas or the Thai elite PE visa that gives unlimited one year entries for 5 years for a membership fee of 500k baht.

If 50 or over there is extensions based upon retirement.

Leave every 90 days.

Each entry from a tourist visa is 60 days that can be extended for 30 days at immigration.

Dependent upon where you apply you can get up to a 3 entry tourist visa.

the fee of 500k THB is paid in full just to be granted 5 years visa with unlimited enntiries? or have other benefits from this "Elite" membership?

I always see the fees quoted as 500,000THB. On the Elite website it says 2,000,000THB. Any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks....

Investment Visa 10Million THB, might sound like a lot but the money can be used to purchase a Condo & remains yours should you wish to leave Thailand or use in your retirement (after converting to a retirement visa obviously)
