Hope you are in good company 24/7.....don't shut others (positive/comforting/supportive) out at this time.....the fact that they are there for you (both)..should bring you comfort.....embrace it - Thais deal with situations differently .... but it might be just what is needed at this time......they view things as more transitory than us......

I doubt that anyone, or anything, can prepare you for something like this.

"Life must go on" must be a hard phrase to comprehend at a time like this - but, indeed it must.

I cannot envisage a situation where my partner departs before me. That is not part of my game plan and with a 19 year age gap the odds are strongly in favour of her still being around when I go.

I hope you are able to reflect on the good times you had - those memories cannot be taken away - but, equally important, I hope you are able to find a way to move on with the rest of your life.
