Featured Replies

good to hear the kids singing songs you can understand and listen to now

elvis days had great songs

then only loud noise started no words then grudge rap and every other bit rubbish

now kids starting to singing songs and music can listen to like 60s some girls

maybe wear less clothes but ok

There has been lots of good music during my lifetime and the 80s was probably as good as the 60s.

Rap sucks iMO, but only because the music in the background is usually so weak. Gangsters Paradise was a great tune MO, but don't hear many like that.

I miss the good old days of the Dash Monkeys and the MissAllens......and The Call. And The The

So Thai kids are singing songs that the OP can understand and which remind him of Thai music from the 60s ? I guess nostalgia aint what it used to be, but I havent heard anything here that made me want to dash down to Boomerang and buy the legal CD.

I dont think any member of The Kinks was from Thailand, but if we're going to play that game:

I prefer the Van Halen version, but only Eddie could ever have been Thai - that 3-pack a day habit cost him his tongue and he still wouldnt admit it was the fags.

Never understand why people miss the good old days of music. It's all on the internet or on vinyl.

No reason to miss it at all.

You got to have lived it to really enjoy it. We were there. The sounds smells the excitement of youth all rolled into one. The music was just the icing on the cake.

This is recognized as the first rap song. And jolly good it is too.

I think, this is the only Rap song I know. And which music turned back to 60s? I mean there are always a few 60s garage bands or maybe "Mod bands" around, but it is pretty underground after the small 60s revival in the 80s. But otherwise...?
