what does the 5th point mean?
i got a nonimm-B visa (90 days) from my home country on september and after getting my WP, i extended the visa on december.
last week, when i went for 90 day report, they asked me the slip of last reporting, i told them i just extended(first time) on december.
they told me you didnt reported and asked to pay 2000 baht fine.
actually im not supposed to pay the fine right?

It means only the first time you apply for an extension is it also considered to be a 90 day report. After your first extension you have to make the 90 day report separately from doing extensions, even if you do them on the same day.

In your case the fine might have been correct. You got your extension in December and should have reported 90 days later, in March. You have up to 7 days after the due date to report. So it really depends on the date you made your first extension.

That would depend upon what day in December you did your extension.

Did you count the 90 days from the date you applied for your extension.

Normally immigration puts a slip in your passport telling you when your first report is due when you apply for an extension.

Yep.

You should report 90 days after applying for your extension.

Thank You all for your replies.
i forgot to mention 1 thing, when i asked them "how many days i am due?", they said 94 days, so i am still in the 7 days period, as i calculated using extended date it is correct.
anyway i ended up in paying fine. bah.gifbah.gif

You could write them and ask them about it as it seems a mistake was made, pointing out the information at their own website.

Maybe they were saying u were 4 days over 7 extra days i.e. 11 days over

To me point 5 says your first extension is also considered to be a 90 day report but if you are over 97 days u are still late.

Probably simplest way is work out days from date on TM6 to date of extension.

Probably won't help getting 2k back tho.
