A source of quality single women?

Last week I was invited with my wife to a farang-thai nice and big wedding in Chiang Mai and I was surprised in meeting a big group of single foreign men and a big group of Thai single women, most professionals, teachers, or business owners..and most very good looking.

I asked my friends about, and they said that most are frequenters of a Expat Group that meet every month, with all kind of events, and it is growing steady, even getting people from other provinces. They said that's keeps everybody busy, because the group is the source of new weddings and parties practically every month, not only in Chiang Mai.

That was a good news, not for myself, because I am happily married, but my wife have very nice friends looking for farang husbands and its doesn't know what places to go look. The wedding was a men's paradise. I counted 7 women for every farang in there. My wife felt jealous and insecure with the "competition" and I was in a short leach.

OP, please tell your wife's friends that farang men, are scarce and precious commodities, not easily loosing their virginity to these ladies looking for a good catch.

After talking with many Thai women, before and after I getting married, looks like most women over 35 years old, divorced or abandoned by Thai men, are looking for get married with older foreigners now. That was the case of my own wife. It is easy to understand. Most of Thai men friends I have are heavy drinkers, heavy cheaters, or very lousy...and thinking that any women over 35 is already to old to have fun with.....

One of my wife's friend is a 40 years old middle high class medical doctor. An amazing, cultured, tall and very beautiful woman that looks like 25. She is looking in divorce his Thai husband, a government official with many lovers and an abuser, and looking for a foreigner to move out the country if possible. She is visiting us for the last 2 years, always with hopes, but not luck. She is not the kind of woman to frequent bars or looks online, and probably most men are shy to approach her. To beautiful and too independent...and busy. Like most do, she will keep the image of a happy married woman to not close friends. Actually, we spoke with her last night and mentioned the expat group.Very nice guys there.

You are right. Looks like most people here believes that ALL Thai women are looking in get a farang to cash in, or ALL are just "easy" women.

In that wedding I met a younger looking 55 years old ex English teacher, than now is a successful entrepreneur. I was surprised by her close to perfect English skills, better than mine, and her western manners. Happens that she travels a lot to the US for her business. She is kind of beautiful, but very petite and skinny. She was never married, and after my curiosity, she told me that she was looking to meet an older farang to get married now, just not to travel alone, because she already have all the money she needs and more. She asked why all farangs are so tall and big...makes her afraid. Well....she looks like a 12 year old girl.

Many sex mongers, oops i mean nice farangs, think 35 is old here, and if they are over 45 kilo, they are fat.The trend is very worrying, even saw a new massage parlour advertising specificaly, that their staff are minimum 18 yo, they are kids.

That's really the key here. There are many OLDER Thai women looking for farangs. The young hotties...well that's a whole different scene.

Sure. My wife's 25 years old very beautiful and tall daughter, with an university master degree, is looking for a Thai millionaire....Actually is dating one now...but...Thai young millionaires guys have too many choices....too many.....and she knows that young farang millionaires are not looking for women in Thailand. She is not just beautiful..it is independent and very savvy too... Anyway....she may get a PHD scholarship in the US..and there..she also will have too many choices... for sure....

Well....I saw many BIG...VERY BIG farangs with VERY small women in Asia. Small women are not my type, but its are appealing for some guys. This woman was VERY small, but VERY smart and interesting. I said 12 years old because she was too small and too cute for her age, but she is a very mature woman in every sense. That is appealing to some people too, specially the mature ones. She was very attractive in some ways..intriguing enough for wild minds. Got it?.... Anyway, she was looking for guys over 60 and not with money. She likes to be in control...

If she is very rich..why not?

I know a few Thai ladies with university degrees and decent jobs and in one lady who has a very, very good jobswork in BKK. They're all single and they'd prefer to be with a caucasian man than a Thai. When I asked a three of them (separately that is) why they prefer Caucasian men over Thais they all gave me the same answer. And no, it wasn't about money, financial security or visas.

They believe thar "farang" are hardworking, usually loyal and generally treat their wives/gfs with respect and care. Thai men on the other hand, according to them, are usually the exact opposite: lazy, unfaithful and take their wives/gfs for granted. I didn't know many Thai men, so I can't really judge if this is true or not.

A few of their ex-husbands/bfs went so far as to quit their jobs and simply live off their wives/gfs.

As Thailand continues to develop, and women become more educated and independent, they're going to become more picky when it comes to meeting a partner.

I've met a few mature Thai teachers in Korat who are all single and eager to meet a good farang, get married and have families...
