I have an older Uni Master AC in my living room which needs intelligent servicing. My landlady and her onsite AC guy have held their hand in front of the unit and declared it cool. End of discussion for them.

No problem. I'll pay to get it fixed myself. It was recently moved from another apartment and I'm guessing the freon is contaminated due to a constant bubbling gas noise in the inside unit when the compressor is running, thus reducing it's cooling efficiency. The installers clearly had no interest in doing a good job. They reused the old pipes and didn't install a dryer.

So a couple of questions. Anybody ever hear of Uni Master AC? I'm guessing it's a defunct cheapo Thai brand.

And can anybody recommend a genuine AC repair tech. Not a couple of moron kids with a tank of freon. I need to get this thing working as good as possible.
