What on earth is this animal?

Not an animal you want to encounter while wondering in the National Parks. They can be highly aggressive and attack without provocation. It's a pit bull on steroids. They look so cute, but be careful.

What an utterly facile comment...you should be ashamed!!

The story was in Tharath a couple of a days ago.

Apparently it's a Honey Bear and was captured in Borneo. When villagers at the local palm oil plantation first saw it in January , they attacked it with sticks, not realising what it was, due to it having lost its hair.

Word of the strange creature spread and it was recaptured on 2nd April and is now receiving veterinary care in a wildlife sanctuary in Malaysia. Its health has improved, but they've yet been unable to restore its hair or find out what caused the hair loss.

Probably eating GM stuff and pesticides that are rife in the palm oil business.

Ok they aren't speaking thai but some sort of malay dialect or maybe native language in borneo since it doesn't sound familiar to me and why are all the comments in thai since borneo is an island that is part of malaysia, indonesia and brunei.
