Interesting.

How much will it cost for your service to do a house here.

The problem you will have is that not sure if you can actually work in this field, but then there are Thais that are doing it, maybe not so good, but still doing it and no doubt much cheaper.

I was asking a friend of mine in lighting overseas about this the other day, he is going to supply me the control boxes and switches, but then have to have it wired here.

I had a local company quote it, so if you give me what you would expect to charge, i can then let you know how your pricing is relative to a Thai company.

Can you tell me what system the lighting is.

Lutron, 10X etc

As for pricing i would be geussing for the moment as i'm not sure how a Thai engineer would charge. I was offered a job in phuket but im thinking of going it alone. Obviously leagally.

System, lol buggered if I know. I have a code for the box, but presume that is a company code rather than anything universal.

But they were from a company called 'dynalite'

I will be picking up the quote soon, so remind me and I will see if it has further info on it.

Exactly what info do you need to know to to gauge it ? and i will ask.

What will determine the difference as far as a quote goes is how the system is put together.

If the keypads run of Data or Belden cable, it will probably have some kind of mains board with a CPU built inside for programming.

If i'm not mistaken dynalite are similar to Futronix and just run of standard main but may require a neutral feed.

The first description is quite involving as there will be a lot of programming if it is a similar setup to Lutron, Vantage etc.

Other than that is should be preaty straight forward. If you know what your doing of course!
