THAI Waives Ticket Change Fee for Flights to Kathmandu

BANGKOK: -- Following the earthquake in Kathmandu, Nepal on 25 April 2015, which resulted in injuries, death, and damage to property, Mr. Wiwat Piyawiroj, Vice President, Sales and Distribution – Thailand and Indochina Department, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), said that THAI will waive the ticket change fee for passengers traveling to and from Kathmandu, Nepal, whose tickets were issued prior to 25 April 2015 and will travel during 25 April to 15 May 2015. Details are as follows:


- Waive the fee for passenger ticket refund (passengers must request refunds before 31 May 2015).
- Waive the fee for changing flights and travel dates, where conditions apply that tickets are for travel on THAI flights.
- Waive the fee for change of routes within the Asian region, such as New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Dhaka, Kolkata, Colombo, Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
